Eliminate the IRS

It looks like the Republicans want to eliminate the IRS and replace the current tax system with a national sales tax. I applaud them.

Kerry Spins His Wheels

It seems that Kerry thought it would be cute of him to show up to for a speech with American auto-makers in a Rolls-Royce.

"That's an insult to the auto worker, it's an insult to the American worker, it's an insult to mainstream America," said Sam Burwell from Corunna, Mich., a third-generation auto worker for General Motors. "It also shows who he's really in touch with: his European, elitist French friends and not Americans like me. A Rolls-Royce, for cryin' out loud."

I don't think I could have said it much better.

Minessota Democrat Endorses Bush

Now that's a headline. It seems that the mayor of St. Paul, in a state that is predominantly "blue" (Democrat) has broken ranks and endorsed President George W. Bush for re-election.

"George Bush and I do not agree on a lot of issues," Kelly said in a statement. "But in turbulent times, what the American people need more than anything is continuity of government, even with some imperfect policies."

Kelly, who said he's remaining a Democrat, said the economy is going in the right direction. "There's no reason to believe a change of course will produce better or quicker results," he said.

And the mayor said the United States will bring the troops home from Iraq a lot sooner if "we don't try to bring in a whole new leadership team to run the show. We must stay the course."

Seems that the local Democrat-Farm-Labor party, (the Democrat party of Minnesota), wasn't too happy.

But the St. Paul DFL Party said Kelly "has traded the values of St. Paul for the agenda of the Republican Party's far right."

"Rather than advocating the needs of St. Paul, Mayor Kelly's decision to not support John Kerry's strategy for building our cities does the voters of St. Paul a disservice," the party said.

A politician who traded up what is good for him fo rwhat is good for his people. That is a rarity indeed.

Kerry Slips Before Convention

it seems that Kerry was slipping before the convention. Could it have something to do with the fact that he was giving speeches, which were doing just the oposite of what he wanted them to? Possibly.

Tired Of Reading Lies?

Well don't pick up Al Franken's book then. He seems to try and lie his way into truth in an effort to.... prove all conservatives are liars... *rollseyes*

Google bombed, is it really a bad thing?

Search for "Waffles" on google and what do you find? John Kerry's website. He has been google bombed, for waffling around on issues. The intention is to hurt John Kerry's image, but what really is the end result?

The fact that google did this, is actually going to help John Kerry. He is getting his name out there for FREE, when people search for something totally un related to John Kerry they see his name again. Its just like when a reporter goes out to make a candidate, or the President look bad and they have nice pretty images to go with their stern words it actually helps the person that they intend to hurt. How you ask? Have you ever heard the saying "a pictures worth a thousand words" well it is and video is worth even more.

Just like the google bomb, it might get it out that he waffles his way around some issues, but it also gets his name out, and if you learn about marketing you will find that the repetition of your name just helps it stick in peoples heads.

Just... Amazing...

About 7,500 'terrorist grade' guns seized enrout to New York. Good thing we gave up our second amendment rights to make sure those darn terrorists don't buy guns!
